Contacts / Contacts in Personal Folder creating mail merge in Outlook 2007

Outlook 2007 contacts
Outlook contacts
Word 2007
Both these options appear in the 'My Contacts' menu but there is nothing under 'Contacts in Personal Folders' when selected - all my contact info being under 'Contacts' However it seems that Word 2007 wants to create a Mail Merge using 'Contacts in Personal Folder' and doesn't recognise the info under 'Contacts'. Can anyone please explain what is happening and how to rectify this to a novice?

Software/Hardware used:
Outlook 2007, Word 2007

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Click Tools>E-mail Options>View or change an existing directory or address
book>Next. Select Outlook Address Book and click Change. Remove the bad
folder references there or try out with
ScanPST.EXE. It’s the Inbox Repair Tool for OL2007, it should be in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12 folder.
Try to repair the pst files.
