Connect Direct Performance Throttle?


Telecom network performance, Connect:Direct

Will Connect direct behave like straight ftp; in that it will consume all available bandwidth preventing other data from following? Can Connect Direct be throttled to only use part of a directed Teleco line.

Based on the info on there site it appears that it will fill the pipe.

If you need to make sure that there is bandwidth available on the line for other traffic, you'll want to setup QoS on your router to ensure that there is bandwidth available for other applications.
