Configuring Cisco and HP Switches
Can an HP ProCurve switch be configured to work with a Cisco switch? Say a for example 3750 or 6506. By work I mean, be able to use VLANs create on Cisco side to work on HP side. Also, for a Cisco trunk to work with on an HP switch.

Software/Hardware used:
Cisco 3750 & 6505, and HP Procurve switch

Answer Wiki:
Hey I did posted couple of articles in my Network Technology and trends blog which explains trunking in both Cisco and HP Procure Switches as well as sample configuration. Cheers Yasir ------------------------ As long as both devices support open standards - like 802.1q trunking, then yes. We have several HP, Cisco, Juniper and Dell devices, that all inter-operate just fine..
