This link is about  DTC for SQL 2005 on Windows 2008.   Since DTC is tied closely to Windows OS, it should still be relevant to my SQL 2008 configuration(I hope).   There is one part that it may suggest a same resource for SQL and DTC setup than you suggest but  I guess it is subject for interpretation and like to hear what you think.   Please read the whole article and then read the outlined part from the link below.
