Hi, We need to configure a adapter for third party.

vendor need to login via pstn thorugh this router. i can configure the cisco fax adopter but i dont know how vendor will login to this router

please explain.

can any body describe what is the scenario "login through aux port via pstn line"

It’s better to connect the modem to the console port than the AUX port. See the second article for reasoning.

I totally agree with Labnuke99: Connecting via dial-up should be across a WIC or some other device that is wired into your console / Serial / Ethernet ports. The AUX port is not designed to take traffic like you’re asking…
