 Configuration between L3 switch 3750 and L2 switch 2960 via trunk port

I am going to connect three L2 switches 2960 from L3 Switch 3750, means all three L2 switches are connected to L3 switch via trunk switch. Thanks & Regards, And i am going to configure VLANs on L3 Switch. So plz let me suggest,if both switches are in server mode then i should configure VLAN on L3 switch only, or we have also configure on L2 switch.

Answer Wiki:
No you will just have to create the Vlans on the L3 switch. Make sure that the L3 switch is in Server mode then put the L2 switches into Client mode. Make sure you trunk the ports that connect the L2 switches to the L3 switch if your using more than 1 Vlan on the L2 switch.
