Hi there. I want to change the cell colour shading of range A10:F10 to one of three colours, depending on the contents of another cell outside this range (J10). Can this be done please?

    1st hightlight cell A10:F10, then open conditional formatting> under Condition 1, select Cell Value Is, then apply condition as ur desire(it changes the next value box according to previous selection, now select cell J10(it shows like =$J$10(which is called absolute reference), now click Format and select what color u wish then followed by OK. If I understood correctly, it may help u.
