Is it best to leave your computer on all the time? And it will go into sleep mode or turn it of when it is not in use?

Welcome to ITKE, JDSAPP! In my opinion, it all depends on your situation. Some of the pros to turning your computer off include electricity costs and the chance to reboot your computer daily (which allows updates). But if you like to leave it on, your computer will be ready immediately for you and it will sometimes perform maintenance (including scanning for viruses and updating software).

To answer your second question, your computer will go into sleep mode when it’s not in use.

This is an age-old question that no one can answer well. I've been leaving my computers on for years and haven't experienced any issues - that is, as far as I know. It's like living near power lines and talking on cell phones - people can document the pros and cons but there's no clear answer that I'm aware of.
