I have some questions about component diagram:
1. How can I recognize components of a system?
2. How can I recognize interfaces of a component?
3. How can I know whether I should use Ports or not?

Components can be libraries,files or executable s which ares used to visualize the system and interfaces can be either input or export interfaces depends on whether the components uses the interface to build the system and export interfaces are just to used to visualize the system .
Ports or nodes depends upon the environment in which the components are going to be installed ie..depends upon deplopyment
