 Compiled Objects source code find

Is there a way to look at the entire system and find the closest match to a compiled object when the original source member is missing? example: compiled object a says created in library b, yet the member is missing in library b, yet there is a rgp source member in library e and k and l. It is impossible to look at every library manually unless i must. thanks
