How do you compile a RPGLE program that has multiple input primary files using the EXTIND(*INU1)&EXTIND(*INU2)? I get error that there is more than one primary file. I set the switches and tried to compile interactively ... same result. This is obviously an existing program that I have modified.

To the best of my knowledge you can only have one primary file in an RPG program.  If you're in the mood to play around you could try making the alternate files secondary & see what happens, but I'd recommend changing the program to make the files full procedural & use the external indicators to determine which file to process.

Another option would be to use OVRDBF to specify the desired 'primary' file.
