There is a mail file which is 4 GB in size, we have archived off 1 GB so far yet this has not reduced the size. I tried to run a compact mail/username.nsf -B but this still did not recover any space on the server. Any advise would be appreciated. Andydb

Are you sure you have nobody using the DB when you use compact -B mail\username.nsf ?

Have you tried to run compact with other options? Like a copy-style compact that ignores errors? compact mail/username.nsf -c -i
