Combo box date/alpa field
Can it be done and how... I create a combo box and I want the field to have some alpha some numeric. the drop down will say "N/A". But if they want to put a date in that field, should be able to. My testing show it has to be either or. Also when I type in the year in that field, I will be typing ex. "11/11/08". But I want access to fill in the rest of the date to read "11/11/2008". Can this be done?

I think you need to decide what kind of data will be input through that control. If it is to be date data, it's quite easy to get Access to change 2 digit year to 4digit year. But if you set the combo box for date data, then it will not accept text data.
