Nothing at all – no difference other than the driver for the card that runs on the PC.

One is capable og g bit ethernet.

Truthfully, no difference…however, at a short enough distance, cat5e will push 1G (don’t count on this tho).

    Never had a problem with gigabit on cat5e - if it is installed correctly, then it seems to work fine. In theory you should need better cable, but in reality it works.
