Chapter 21 – Using Transaction Files of the <a href=”http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/topic/books/sc092540.pdf”>COBOL Programmers Guide</a> discusses and provides a sample program which updates/rewrites subfile records.
