Application for quality assurance testing on multiple browsers including IE
I am not a developer - I am a tester (QA) so I hope I ask this question correctly.  I need to test applications on multiple versions of IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc.....  I was using Spoon but apparently Microsoft made them close down.  I found a program called Adobe browserlab, which would have been perfect but it only displays one page at a time (gui) - you cannot navigate through from page to page - so that is out.  Mentioning these two programs I am hoping gives you an idea of what I need.  Is there another program out there that is similar?  Or is there a way of doing what I need?  I am running Windows XP OS

Windows XP OS

There r ways to run different versions of IE on single XP computer..... Download and install virtual box on XP and take win98 (either install any one IEversion, which differ from current xp's IEversion) or linux and try ur application on different versions of IE. On linux u have to download IES4Linux which helps to install IE 6, 5.5 and 5 To download virtual Box: www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads To download IES4Linux: www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Installation OR U have to try out for IE Collection the link is http://utilu.com/IECollection/ OR u go for IE Tester. The link is : www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage OR Download and install Multiple IE runner.... Just search for multiple-ie-setup or link to http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IE CAUTION: IF U DO NOT HAVE A VALID EULA FOR ANY "MS OS PRODUCT", U ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO INSTALL, COPY, OR OTHERWISE USE THE OS COMPONENTS AND U HAVE NO RIGHTS UNDER THIS SUPPLEMENTAL EULA. AFAIK, Microsoft just asked Spoon to remove IE from their service, so you could continue using it to test your apps on other browsers.

If that is true, maybe you can use another tool just for IE.

Here are a couple links (I have not tried any of these):

IETester
Microsoft Expression

Firstly, thank you for your replies. Yes, Spoon eliminated IE and also Safari but I need to test in IE6, IE7 and IE8. Right now I have IE7 on my computer and I can’t download the other two on it because that just does not work so I need something similar to spoon that will support the other two. I have downloaded Safari on my computer (the version from spoon) and I can use spoon for Firefox and Chrome. My issue is basically IE
