Sorry, for my late reply. As last reply from u, it seems that, u want to create an image of Mac, and install on multiple computers with dual booting. Well, it is not possible to install both the OS simultaneously at the same time. Either u install Mac first, then go to install Ubuntu or vice versa. In this case, u have to change the lines in menu.lst. For Ubuntu, as I mentioned there r several methods, like "AutoInstall / Kick Start" (concept from Red Hat) or u go thru PXE or even u may create a NFS server to install Ubuntu on multiple pcs. This is safe and comfortable. As of my case, earlier I installed Linux (SuSE) on many computers at at time with same process. It helps to reduce ur time and resource also. Only Lan connection is required properly.
And As the case of Mac, "Do u recommend ghost >??", My opinion is No. "Have u used it ??", No. Though I not use "CCC", but heard from one of my friend, that it is good for multiple installation of Mac. The CCC Web is here.
This is not the only way, there r more.... instead of that, u may use DeopDmg, for the same. But it is not free !
OR,
U may try for Netrestore / NetInstall
And last, for Mac Recommendations and for creating Boot Image

U may try to use the option for installing Ubuntu on multiple computers by fully automatic installations. Generally, Ubuntu Installer supports automating installs via preconfiguration files. Though u mentioned here, the pcs have same conf, then u may simply use disk imaging programs for the same purpose.
OR,
Even u may set up Preboot Execution Environment / PXE install server with Ubuntu. It allows the client computers to boot & install from the distro over network, without need anything. May be there is another way to install from NFS server.

For Mac, it may be possible, (though I am not sure) a trick called "Carbon Copy Cloner" & "Netrestore" that help to create master disk image of Mac and install on multiple computers over network.
