Client Access – Remember Password

Hi ,

I am using Client Access for downloading data frm AS400 to PC , I have changed the settings where the download starts automatically , however I always have to enter the password everytime as it prompts the same.

Please suggest how can client access remember the password.

<b>Use the command, RXFERPCB, in CA. The RXFERPCB command allows you to specify userid and password as parms.</b>

    What is the PC operating system? What is the version/release of Client Access? (Use the Start-> Programs menu to find the Client Access Properties function.) What is the Client Access Service level? (On the Properties window next to the version/release.) What is the Signon Information setting of the Connection tab for the Properties of the AS/400 in Operations Navigator? (i.e., what was configured for user/password for that connection?) Is the problem evident every single time if you do the transfer two or more times in a row? Or does it happen only when you run the transfer each time you log on to the PC? Tom
