Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

According to IBM the only versions of client access that are compatible with vista are versions V5R4 and later.

Capelo, you need to be more specific. What exactly is your problem? I'll assumed that your talking bout V5R1M0, windows vista and client access. There shouldn't be any problems connecting PCs to that AS400/iSeries/System i system. I currently connected to a system running on V4R5 and my PC is running windows vista home premium and CA v5r2 without any problems.

Make sure you know your Group Patch levels are on the AS400 for iSeries access for Windows and what version and SI level your local install of Client Access is on the Vista pc. If your running something older on the PC than what's on the AS400 you'll need to upgrade the PC client first. Link Since IBM nolonger supports V5R0 then you're going to have a tough time getting patches for Client access. You can try installing a V5R2 or newer Client Access app onto your Vista box and see if the errors go away. I won't go into a long diatribe about staying on supported versions of the Operating system.
