I created a printer session to run as400 queries to a cannon IR 3225 printer.  The printer appears to be disconnected and had been working fine before.  What could have gone wrong

Answer Wiki:
Please, check the connections of your printer. It may be loosely connected and check for the cartridge of the printer as well.

The printer appears to be disconnected…

What does that mean? Appears to be disconnected from what? What gives you the impression that it is disconnected?

Is there a message or error code on the printer’s display? Does the printer session not start on the PC? Is the printer not accessible from the PC? Does a writer not start on your AS/400 when you start your printer session? Do reports simply disappear when you send reports from your AS/400? Is the printer not directly accessible from the AS/400?

What happens? Why do you think of it as being disconnected?
