 Client Access printer setup
I replaced the parallel cable to my Epson FX-880 printer with a D-Link 311P print server, and ever since then my Client Access printer sessions start with "Windows Default Printer" even though the .ws file specifies the Epson printer.  I never had this problem until I installed the DP-311P. I am using CA v6.1 on Windows XP  Thank you in advance for your help.

Thanks for your suggestion to check the printer name. The name I was using was "EPSON FX-880+ on Network", and there is something about this name that CA does not like. I changed the name to "EPSON FX-880+ and everything works fine. I thought it was the length, but I used another printer with a longer name with no problem. I thought it was the imbedded "+", but that wasn't it either. I am putting this down to one of those things we will learn when we get to heaven.

Are your sessions set to save on close? Otherwise, have you selected to save the session manually after you make the change?

If the printer is specified directly in the ws file, does the name have any odd characters in it?
