Client Access file transfer – file override
I have many files to transfer from AS/400 to PC & I call 'rtopcb' in a cl program to do so. These files are all the same format but they must go to different pc directories. Is there any way to use the same file transfer request yet override the pc file names/directories so I don't have to create a separate transfer request for each one. Thanks.

I had a similar need. I tried building the transfer as a string and then using a variable in the STRPCCMD command but could not get that to work. I did not spend a lot of time trying to resolve this since I only had 10 different directories and just coded for all. I plan on going back to this at a later date and will respond if I get it working.
