This previous question may help: Will Vista and Windows 7 be compatible with old Client Access?

The previous question is a good answer if you are running an older OS. Client Access for V5R4 with the latest service pack or higher is compatible with Windows 7.

Need to install Client access from V6R1M0 or above. V5R4 and lower not officially supported.
Need to download Winhlp32/64 from Microsoft for Help Features no longer on Windows7
Must install from CD, Hard Drive or Mapped drive as administrator not a UNC connection
