CLI config confirmation
Hi, does anyone know if d-link is manufactured by cisco? There is this client that asked me on how to create multiple ip adresses on a single interface of cisco router, but the switch connected to it was a d-link switch. Of course, the solution was intervlan routing but I haven't seen a d-link CLI configuration so I'm not sure on what to suggest. Is cisco CLI the same with d-link CLI? Are the commands the same?

Answer Wiki:
D- Link is not manufactured by Cisco , it a manufactured by a comany callled D-link it self. As far as CLI is concerned you cannot use the commands used in Cisco Switches and Routers . IF check the D-link web site you can find a product manual which helps you out to configure the switch. I checked the D-link Switch manual no where close are the CLI commands. You should go thru the manual to configure the D-link Switch
