Windows 10
About two weeks ago, I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad with Windows 10 Home. I formatted it with Windows 10 Pro disk but it still activated / installed Home on it (not sure why that happened). So every single time I run a clean install, it goes to Windows 10 Home. So here's my question: Can I clear all of the Windows information on it so I can install Pro (and not Home)?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

According to Microsoft

Upgrade using your digital license for Windows 10 Pro

If you already installed and activated Windows 10 Pro on your device, you’ll have a digital entitlement that lets you upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro without a product key.

To upgrade, select the Start  button, then select Settings  > Update & security  > Activation.

  • If you have a digital license for Windows 10 Pro, and Windows 10 Home is currently activated on your device, select Go to Microsoft Store and you’ll be prompted to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro for free.
  • If you have a digital license for Windows 10 Pro, but Windows 10 Home isn’t activated on your device, select Troubleshoot, and then follow the steps to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.
  • If you don’t have a digital license for Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Pro is available for purchase from the Microsoft Store.
Upgrade using a Windows 10 Pro product key

To upgrade from Windows 10 Home if you have a Windows 10 product key:

  1. Select the Start  button, then select Settings  > Update & security  > Activation.
  2. Select Change product key, and then enter the 25-character Windows 10 Pro product key.
  3. Select Next to start the upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.

Hope you have taken backup your data. now go to Settings > Update and security > Recovery. Under Reset this PC, select Get started, and follow the instructions on the screen. Once you've reset your PC, make sure you remove your PC from account.microsoft.com/devices. Please link here for more help: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10startfresh
