Cleaning solutions for raised floor data centers

Data center maintenance, Data center cleaning, Data center operations

We received this question from a SearchDataCenter.com reader:

We have a raised floor with Servers and HVAC equipment on it. It is brand new and I needed advice on cleaning the floor in terms of solutions, water, etc. We need to clean the dust by vacuuming but also need to clean the floor tiles. What is my best bet? .

I would clean Under the tiles with a good vacumcleaner with a plastick tube ( because of electricity ). And take away al big part of mess/trasch.
The top of the tiles ( iff necessary ) clean with a vacuumcleaner that sprays a littlebit of water and vacuums it at the same time. Iff that doesn't help. You'll have to do it by hand. ( on you're knees )
Tryout the companies AirQuality Improvements or Altena Cleaning. The know best.
Good luck.
