 Citrix Server V/s Terminal Server
Hi All, Just wondering what is the basic difference betyween the citrix server and terminal server. 1) Security point of view. 2) End-User point of view. 3) Network Bandwidth. etc. etc. Best Regards Vijay Mishra

I don’t know about terminal servers, but we’ve had a Citrix server for quite some time. Network bandwidth impact is minimal and security is good. Ours had a Defender (hard token) in front of it so it was even more secure, a requirement of having so much sensitive data.
Once logged into Citrix the user is presented with a Citrix desktop from which you do your work. It works well, but after switching to VPN, I’m spoiled with having the same desktop as I see while at the office.
