Hi, I am acessing AS400 through Cirtix client. I am facing function key issues. For me some of the function keys are working well, but few are not working. Ex: F13, F15, and F24. If I hit F15, it asks me to disconnect the session. For F13, its showing me the windows Start menu. I have checked the keyboard mapping. It is in US standard and mapped correctly. Ex: F13 --> Pf13. And the key map file they reffered is looks like “mi 101….” For time being I mapped with some other key for my requirement. But that not good. Please give me a solution to rectify this.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You may need to reprogram your keyboard file. In the same situation I have prohrammed alt+F1 to produce F13. This is a simple solution provided you have the ability to save the keyboard file within your Citrix session.

Thanks for your reply. As you mentioned, for time being I programmed my keyboard file with Shift+1 for F13 and Shift+3 for F15. But I feel, it is a temporary solution and not good. I will be happy if I know the cause for this issue.

Working in Citrix client this is a normal issue, you can use the hot spot to fix this. Go to EDIT>Hotspots Setup and in Point-and-Select Hotspots Select check box on PFnn, Fpnn, Fnn and 3-D Buttons This will create a 3-D buttons on all the Function keys on the screen which allows you click on them to execute. This is what I am using and its works great. -Sagar

Thanks Sagar :) Again this is a temp. solution. It will be good for me to kill the original issue instead of looking for an alternate way :) Regards, Razuk.
