 Cisco VPN not connecting
Hello Friends.
I have a Laptop (HP Elitebook 6930) that has internet connection. Whenever I try to connect to my Company's Network through CVPN, it starts connecting and afterawhile it just brings up a prompt "NOT CONNECTED".
Please is anyone aware of this kind of error and how it can be fixed.
Thanks for your help.
Jennifer.

Answer Wiki:
Port 443 on the firewall, including Windows and you may have network security on your anti-virus application which needs to allow connections through port 443 as well. One other issue I have seen with some types of connections, VZAccess for example, where there seems to be a DCHP lease issue of some sorts. It's an odd problem and not really recurring to fully diagnose but I fix it by setting the IPv4 settings on the Cisco AnyConnect to automatically obtain IP and DNS information.

Sorry, but check firewall settings at your home and have your techs check the port configuration for you client.

When it does that for me (sits there ‘connecting’ forever), it is usually because I mistyped the password. So, yes, please verify with the IT personnel that the password you have is correct. Secondly, I would check firewall, etc, as I believe you will not get to the point of ‘connecting’ if the firewall is blocking you…but I could be wrong.
