 Cisco VLAN
Hi, I want to know if there is any way to see the specific vlan configured on to all network without doing much of labour by loging in to every switch and getting the info. for example: ther are 30 vlans configured on core switch and through vtp domain, vlans are distributed on to 10 access switches at diffrent location with in the premises and i have configured the access switches 1 with vlan 10, 20 and 21. and access switch 2 is configured with vlan 4, 6 and 21 and so on now if i want to get the detail information of vlan 21 either from core switch (which i guess we dont have an option) or by any third party software, which can give me the result as vlan 21 is configured at switch 1 on port 1,2 and 8 vlan 21 is configured at switch 2 on port 22,29 and 30 and vlan 21 is configured at switch 9 on port 14,17,18 and 40.

VTP will only propogate VLAN information but not port assignment. You’ll need to assing ports on individual switch to particular VLAN manually.

You may want to look in to LAN Surveyor from Solarwinds. It is a freeware.
