You need to use the same command as when configuring a Cico router to route packets, ie: route ....

Nate that if this is you're first time configuring this kind of things, you might want to let a Network Professional configure what you want...

Go into Global Config
Switch# Conf t
Turn on IP routing
Switch(config)# ip routing
Done.....

Just being layer 3 doesn’t always mean your switch can route. many switches that are layer 3 support VLAN’s but that is their extent.
It depends on what switch you have.
If you can give us some details as to model #, age…etc then we can provide you with more information.
Thats not accurate – some MULTI-LAYER switches dont do routing, Layer 3 switches DO routing, thus the term Layer 3
