I need a command that will help me get info about pc inventory on my network, when I use cdp neigbour I only get other switches and ip phones but not PCs. for the PCs I only get the mac address when I use another command (mac-address),what I need is the mac address, ip address and the serial number of the PCs

<b>show arp</b> will show you the IP address and mac address of any network device that has sent data to or from the router, but there is no command to show the serial number of a PC on the network from a Cisco device, this is not possible. The CDP command only works with Cisco devices (and some Foundry and HP switches).

You can get software to do this task, but it is not something you can do on a Cisco router.

    What serial number are you referring to? You may need to go with a beefier network inventory solution such as LT Auditor+. Hope this helps.
