Cisco Access Point 1242 series
Hi,
we have 21 access point in doc yard. all the wireless mobile clients can associate and update their business data. in a perticular location it is found that the wireless client when associating the perticular access point it is getting hang or giving network connectivity problem.
But the access point shows nothing in its log also when i shut down the access point the problem gets resolve.
Can anybody suggest

Are the AP's set on discrete channels or are they autonegotiating what channel they broadcast/receive? The AP's should be set to channels 1, 6 or 11 and not same channels next to each other. You should have them in a honeycomb fashion where same channel APs are not next to each other but separated by one of the other channels. A design might look something like below.

You may consider removing/reinstalling the wireless supplicant (client) on the host. I suspect it’s something on that end.
