Q:
Cisco 3550 Failover
Hi, I am wondering if there is any failover (active- active or active-passive) solution for 3550 switches. I just would like to sync configurations of two 3550 as backup of each other.
Thank you for your time in reading/responding my question.
Emre.

Dear there is nothing called active-active solution for Switches rather you some thing called redundancy, and load balancing. You can have redundant up links to the distribution switches suppose if one link fails you can have a redundant link. Also if you are using HP Pcs with dual NICs you can use NIC teaming connected physically from two different Access Switches.
