		<description><![CDATA[rightio, by hook or by crook I&#039;ved/loaded a file for my switch from Cisco.... It is in the form of something called .tar file. Which hopefully I&#039;ve extracted  correctly to  a .bin file (?). Now I&#039;d appreciate help in &#039;flashing&#039; it to the switch from my laptop.?

		<description><![CDATA[The commands you are entering looks like the ones you would do at the rommon screen to do a password recovery or something else.  The switch seems to boot up correctly since you are getting the &quot;switch:&quot; prompt.  Can you show us what happens when you type &quot;enable&quot;?  Does it give you an error or anything?  Your prompt should change to &quot;switch#&quot; to configure your switch.
