 Cisco 2950 – 2 VLANS (one shuts the other)
I have a 2950, and two vlans, when I "no shut" one, the other one shuts down. I have connected the switch to a firewall (acting as a router as well)

hi you cannot make two L3 vlan up at one time. 2950 don't support this feature. You can only create multiple L2 vlan's.

Thanks for the answer, is it then possible to update the ios? or it’s really a limitation with the 2950 and there’s nothing I can do about it. Thanks once more….
