 Cisco 2811 PVDM2-24DM Initialising

Dear All Professionals, We have taken on the installation of a Cisco 2811 to make digital communications over ISDN and are requiring assistance with our hardware configuration . We have all the necessary modules and so on however our current problem is: We have the digital modem module in slot 0 and do not see the PVDM light come on even whe the module is plugged in. How do we initialise it because at the moment the router seems to think it is not plugged in the slot. Best Regards C Green President J Trade Inc. Japan

Use: card type t1 0 0 This will tell the router which mode to use and it will enable the interface. Depending on your module and connection you would use t1 or e1.
