 CIO 2010 budgets–any wiggle room?
CIOs, are you making any adjustments to your 2010 budgets, up or down?

The reason for my question: Forrester is predicting a 6.6% increase in IT budgets, considerably higher than the flat to declining budgets indicated by CIOs in many surveys. When I probed, analyst Andy Bartels stood by his data and said he expects CIOs will be given leave to spend over their official budgets.

Is this true for you?

Answer Wiki:
Linda - I'm seeing some wiggle room thus far this year. It appears that many CIOs (and others in charge of IT) are freeing up money for new projects, especially security.
