    However, win 7 utilizes ntfs file system which is the most commonly used. The core of ntfs is the MFT, which is called as Master File Table. This is a file of a special format that is located on the mft zone of a partition. U can see this by disk management tool. Yes, u can customize pgefile, while most of the users leave it as default. Now the q for security, win 7 itself has much more secured OS. If u want to hardening Win 7, this is an another issue.
