Changes that could affect intial menu to override Authorization list for a user profile?
Recently, In our shop we noticed that a particular user profile has access to some of the restricted libraries. We are using Infinium ERP, and have AMCIU intial menu. Somehow, this appears to be broken due to which this user is able to update some of the restricted libraries. I want to know how this Initial menu could be overriding the AUTL which protects the particular library access. How to fix this issue?

Software/Hardware used:

My guess is that there are programs that are using adopted authority. Is his the only profile that this happens with?Sign on as another user that should have his authority and step through the same steps that that user takes and see if you can replicate the problem.

How are the libraries restricted?

First, how does the user make the change? By running STRSQL? By using DFU? By using ODBC? The particular method used can tell a lot. If the user runs DSPOBJAUT for one of the files, can you show us the result? The way the authority is displayed can change under different types of obtained authority. — Tom

Infinium, as I faintly remember it, there was some profile swapping thingy going on based on the module security file.
