Answer Wiki:
Chinese is a DBCS language code, I think Chinese have to be the primary language defined on the system. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Chinese does NOT have to be the primary language. You can have an English primary and Chinese secondary. Bruce Vining -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Chinese is a double byte language and it can be primary but a better solution is to replace single byte english 2924 with double byte english 29xx. Then you can run Chinese double byte as a secondary language so the normal OS shows up in English unless you have a PC set to a different language feature for 5250. You can then run any secondary language both single byte and double byte when you have a double byte primary language installed.

I hope this helps.
