I have an old Win 2000 server which is my PDC now. I also have a new Win 2003 server which is just a member server now.
I would like to make the new Windows 2003 server my Primary Domain Controller. Could someone point me in the right direction?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Actually upgrading is pretty simple in this case as those documents will say.
Basically you’ll run a tool that upgrades the Active Directory of your 2000 server to be 2003 compatible. Then you promote the 2003 server to be a Domain controller in your existing domain.
At that point you might be done. It depends on what the status of the old 2000 server is. Transfer FSMO roles and DNS services etc — if you are getting rid of the odler server or if it is too slow for logon/overburdened for other tasks. Otherwise you could leave the FSMO roles etc as is.
Remember two domain controllers provide backup if one goes down. And FSMO roles aren’t usually user perceiveable nor their positioning that administratively important for a single domain site.
