Is there any way by which max active jobs in a sharepool can be modified automatically (periodically) using a formula depending on maximum jobs in a subsystem. Currently we are using a formula and manually updating every hour.

The Change Shared Storage Pool command CHGSHRPOOL doesn’t do what you want?

Is there any way by which max active jobs{threads} in a sharepool can be modified automatically (periodically) using a formula depending on maximum jobs in a subsystem. Why? That is, why change it? Why not set it for what is needed and leave it? Or why not configure your auto-tuning and let it do it for you? You probably have reasons for wanting to do it by your own programming, but an explanation of the business problem that you are trying to solve might help us provide a useful answer. Tom
