What languages do you have installed? Which one is the default for your system? Which one do you want to set for the users you are asking about? -- Tom

Each LPAR is a different "system". Which LPAR are you asking about? What languages are installed on that single LPAR and which language do you want your users to see on that single LPAR? It doesn't matter what languages are on other LPARs. -- Tom

Sorry, I didn't read that right the first time. If I understand, all systems do have English installed. When you sign on to any system, you want to have English available for you even when other users see a different language. Is that what you need? -- Tom

Have you read through the V5R4 Configuring secondary languages topic? The section on 'Enabling the secondary language' describes three alternative methods. -- Tom
