 Change language on operating system.
Can I change the language on windows vista or xp by reinstalling using the same key? Same computer, same key, just different language. Is that violating any microsoft rules?

Answer Wiki:
As per license terms once you have purchased a license, you can install it in any one or multiple languages it supports using the same key in the same computer. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The keys are single computer liscenses. They don't want you using one key for 5 workstations is all, so the same workstation, different language is fine, but I would take a look at the control panel language settings as Brent mentioned below. -Schmidtw

Since you said “reinstalling” and I wasn’t sure what you were trying to do — I wanted to mention the “Regional and Language Options” in the Control Panel.
