How I can change English numbers to Arabic numbers?

Answer Wiki

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Can you be more specific?

Are you attempting to take fields in Microsoft Excel (and what version) that contain values like 1, 2, 3, etc. and convert them to numerals like I, II, III, etc.?

You have the ability to change or standardize the data type in each cell.

Select the group of cells you want, right click, and select Format Cells. On the first tab, choose custom, and create the data type you want.

Hope this helps!

First of all you should have arabic fonts installed.ThenSelect some cells, Go to Insert Menue-> Symbol->Select font as Arabic Transparent Then whatever numbers you type in those cells wiil come as Arabic Numbers. This has to be done only one time. After that such format is available under Format cell->Number->Custom

@Morey, see here and you can get some help. Make sure to change language in Arabic from language / region settings. In word, click the circular office icon in the upper left. (assuming this is 2007). Now click the word options and click advanced in the left menu. Scroll it to point show document content section then look for the numeral menu. Select context in the numerals menu then close the window. Also you can check the help menu in word, which is a .chm file and has an excellent help.
