Q:
Change Complete Date on To Do
Is it possible frok the user GUI to control the date a To Do item is complete? Currently the Complete Date is set to the date the Mark as Complete action is selected. But often we need to mark items completed on a different day in the past.

I really dont think it can be done . because lotus Notes client ussual gets the the timing from the OS of the system . Moreover, I think for security reasons changing the date of a past day cannt be done .
--------------------
The Notes client by default gets it's time from the OS. This can be changed in the Adv tab in the location doc. Even if you bypass the OS time stamp your To Do's might not keep your desired time stamp after changing back to the OS time.

It is important to know that Notes doesn't take time changes lightly if for some reason a used changes the OS time to more then 3 days in the future or more then 23 days in the past and then sends a email it will corrupt several local databases. If working off on a local mail database it will replicate this corruption to the server. The mail database on the server will reflex the correct time but the user's mail will be stuck in the mail.box on the server until the problem is resolved. Of cause in this day and age AD will monitor the PC's time. For anyone still running NT "gasp" beware.
