First of all your phone has to be capable of acting as a modem. Not only that but you will need some way to connect your computer to the phone (Cable, bluetooth) and then it would depend on the phone and computer as to how you would set it up. You should probably get some more info to get a more direct answer. Be aware though most cell phone providers are very much against your proposition unless set up with them in advance. Most providers will cut off your service if they monitor your internet usage over a certain limit.

What you are looking to do is called "tethering" There are several products available for making this happen. First and foremost though you should contact you cell provider and find out if you CAN do this with your current plan, and if they have a solution to make this happen.
Good Luck!

I used to use a Samsung D900 as a wireless modem via bluetooth, so I didn’t even need any cables. I put all the information I have about this up here -

There is info for At&t, T-Mobile and O2. It depends a lot on your phone though but give it a shot.
