Over the years I’ve had experience with many CD discs that just won’t play. They look good, the drives operate well, but the discs just won’t play. One guy told me there might be a tiny imperfection in the CD disc at a critical spot in the software that could interfere with play.
I don’t really know, but one thing I’ve tried is to copy the CD to another blank disc. Use your server’s burner to make the copy. Make sure you test and verify during the copy. The new copy is likely to be defect-free and could work better than the original.
