Why do MP3 CDs not play on some CD players?

Answer Wiki

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Normal CD players like in portable players and cars cannot read the MP3 format. They use a different file format for the audio files like CDA or when burning the CD select AUDIO format not DATA for the MP3 files

Basically this is a concept of codes. Some CD players don't have the license to use these codes that can support all types of music/videos. Generally these licenses are necessary to buy or depending on permission except piracy or not licensed.

Moreover like Windows Media Player does not support to run .mkv files, but while installing some codecs can help to resolve this issue. Also check your .mp3 files that they are all OK and not corrupted.
